Mexico & Pita Happiness

MEXICO!
FELIZ DIA DE
INDEPENDENCIA!!!

I.

Love.

Mexico.

....Aaand, it worked! After a long pep-talk with the hubby, we figured out the grand possibilities in store for the 5am workouts in the future. Wake up, change, eat 1/2 banana, almonds, raisins, h2o. 15 push ups + 100 abs (20 crunches, 20 bicycle, 20 reverse, 20 diamond legs, 20 scissor kicks) 4 miles elliptical ~ 38:39 minutes, stretch + HOME! & guess what? I had extra time after I got ready for work- that means more abs post workout in the future! Sa-weet!

Overnight Green Insanity:

dark kale, spinach, rice milk, ice, blueberries, banana: blend & cover. sit in fridge overnight.

Grains/Nuts:

morning mix: overnight oats, wheat germ, wheat berries, almonds = AMAZING! Very Kale-y. The sweet fruit definitely forgot to cover up the bitterness in the greens this time, but I felt pretty hardcore downing that fella.

A Day's Worth:

Oh look, more kale! Atop leftover Curry Quinoa mix, with homemade pitaaa! & avocado and other friends. PS: Ginger cookie larabar felt spicy on my esophagus. It was distracting.

PITA PARTY!

It was delicious, soft, fluffy, hardtobelieveitwashomemade - that type of goood.

Dinner:

Simplicity is joyous. 1 sweet potato, brocc, garbanzos. Sprinked with salt, peppah, paprika. Baked on 400* for about 20 minutes, flipped over once (not garbanzos, you silly faces).

Time for some R&R with the hubby-kins :)

PS: I miss reading blogs. Ah, to have an extra hour each day...
