Chocolate Almond Balls

My spouse: do we have anything sweet to eat?
Me: I can make you something quick
Him: No, that's okay.
Me: grab the babe and I'll throw something together
Him: Okay, let me wash my hands first
Me: bam boom toss mix roll - chocolate wonders.



oh-lala, make 'em however you want - dessert balls.
  • 8-10 dates
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 2 tbsp extra dark, unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup ground flaxseeds
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
Throw everything into a food processor until a ball of slightly sticky dough forms, add more ground flaxseed if mixture is too wet/sticky, or a little bit of almond milk (less than a tablespoon at a time) if mixture is too dry. Roll in coconut. Store in the freezer. Dip in coconut whip cream (one can of full-fat coconut milk, 4 dates, a hint of vanilla and a high speed blender - keeps in the fridge for 2 weeks)!
