Stacking Blocks

And He said to them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.  Luke 10:2

We, as believers and followers of Christ Jesus, are the laborers. We are few. We are called to share the news of God sending His Son, Jesus, to die on a cross and rise up again, for the forgiving of our sins and the gift of eternal life with Him! The world, needing to be reached, needing to be taken care of, guided, taught in the truth of Jesus and the salvation He offers, is the harvest. There is plenty, plenty of lost souls looking for a promise, looking for hope. Let's follow our calling and talk to everyone about their loving Lord, their Creator and compassionate Father!

Santi's into slowly, slowly, carefully, cautiously reaching for blocks and toys when we stack them high for him. I know the day will come when he screams and smacks the stack over with all his might, but for now he does life this way. Calm, baby, careful... not... to... hit... them... over... then when he finally does hit them over we scream and shout and react in an over-exaggerated way in the hopes of making him laugh (which sometimes works) or want to do it again (doesn't really work).

Also, black soft hats with ear flaps and a draw string are one of the cutest baby items he owns! Props to grandma Pam on finding this gem, even though it tends to slide down a bit and cover his eyes, I'm certain this kid loves it as much as we do. Actually he probably doesn't. But hey! We enjoy it much so.
