Deuteronomy 8:17, 18
Everything we have, we have received. Every dollar we obtain, is a gift from the Lord. Every purchase we make, is all thanks to God's provision. If we are short money, He will provide in time as long as we trust in Him. Also, being tight financially does not mean He has stopped loving us or blessing us, it does not mean we are in sin and He is punishing us. It is simply a humbling time in our life where we all need to trust fully in our loving God, depend on Him and not our own abilities, and wait for Him to provide in His perfect timing. And He will! Even if it turns out to be the hardest time in your life, He will never leave or forsake you. God is so, so good.
All we have (life, family, jobs, money, homes, cars, clothing) is a gift from our Heavenly Father, who gives and takes away. Because like a good father here on earth, He does not give us everything we ask for, He always answers us - ALWAYS - but sometimes it's, "no" or, "not right now." Find comfort in this, friends, find your strength in your King. Blessed be His name!
Onto one of my first filling, satisfying, hey-I'm-not-hungry-after-eating-that, fruit meal! So, this one is a success making me want to share it. With food combining, you want to bring them acid fruits together, them sweet fruits together, or them sub-acid fruits together. This looks like: bananas + dates, apples + kiwi, or in my lunch's case: pineapple, orange, and berries. Note: greens go with everything, so have fun with green smoothies galore! A more detailed food combining chart:
You can also combine sub-acid fruits with either sweet or acid fruits. Hooray! It's best for digestion and the like - so give it a go with your next all-fruit meal! Also, amazingness: this has 7 grams of protein. Oh fruit, you're so special. If it were a kale smoothie, it would have 16 grams of protein. That's more than a serving of beans!!
